Most of the photographs on Reminiscene have been rescued from antiques shops and fairs or have been donated in the hope that they can be passed to a proven descendant.
If you cannot find your ancestor’s photograph on Reminiscene, please try the sites listed on our Links page.
Please note that Reminiscene will close at the end of 2013 and that no new material will be added to this site. However, all of the photographs in the collection are gradually being placed in Grandma’s Photo Box on Flickr where new material will also be added. If you can prove your descent from any of those featuring in our photographs, you can contact us either through Reminiscene until the end of 2013 or through Grandma’s Photo Box with immediate effect.
